Yutori Kokorogi (心木 ゆとり, Kokonorogi Yutori) is a quiet, shy, but kind-hearted classmate of Yuuichi's, she was bullied in the first grade and became friends with Yuuichi and his classmates after Shiho helped her out. She loves anime and manga, and draws manga as a hobby. She is currently a participant of the Adult Tomadachi Games and is part of Yuuichi's team.

Personality

Yutori has a quiet personality, seeming very kind on the surface. She is very innocent and even a bit air headed. This personality is what Yuuichi and the rest of the friend group is familiar with. This side of Yutori is very dedicated to her friends and has a small crush on Yuuichi. This Yutori is also very gullible and easily manipulated.

However she has a second personality that she keeps deeply hidden from her friends is dark and twisted. Yutori has no qualms about hitting her own mother and is actually very rich, though it is unknown where she gets most of her money from. Yutori is an unstable person as she is insanely obsessed with Yuuichi, even using her own money and attempting to kill others in order to make Yuuichi love her. This side of Yutori has no loyalty to any of her friends, even Yuuichi. It is unknown when Yutori developed her obsession with Yuuichi, however it was revealed in the manga that she knew Yuuichi before he met her in high school.

History

In middle school, Yutori was always bullied by her classmates. It eventually became so bad that Yutori started giving money to her classmates in order to get them to stop bullying her. Yutori was very poor at the time so in order to get money, she started dating older men. At first she would just let them take pictures of her in suggestive clothing, however they eventually wanted to rape her in which she refused and ran away. She was being bullied in high school as well until Shiho Sawaragi saved her.

Etymology

• Yutori's surname Kokorogi means "heart, mind, soul" (心) (kokoro) and "tree, wood" (木) (ki/gi).

Trivia

• According to a July 2022 interview with Dani Chambers, another actress voice matched her for Yutori in the Episode 3 simuldub that aired, as Chambers was sick at the time. Chambers later went back to redub the part.
